Last weekend I finally saw my first race-prepped R8. The fact it was the most recent, 2022-spec Evo II, made it even more special. This particular R8 was born an Evo I and has since been upgraded to the current spec. Most of those upgrades were of the aerodynamic variety as is evidenced by the rather awesome ''992 GT3-like'' swan-neck rear wing. The 585 horsepower 5.2L V10 and its beautiful soundtrack remained untouched.
The car was definitely not pushed to its full potential but when it still sounds this good, who cares right? Enjoy!
