CM Wang is the TMR Chair Professor in Structural Engineering at the School of Civil Engineering, University of Queensland, Australia. He was formerly the Director for the Engineering Science Programme, National University of Singapore and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Monash University, Australia.
His research interests are in the areas of structural stability, vibration, optimization, nanostructures, plated structures and Mega-Floats. He is the author or co-author of over 400 scientific publications, reviewer of many international journals in mechanics and structures, author and editor of 9 books including 2 books on Large Floating Structures.
