Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi has described an incident at Three Rivers Secondary School in the Vaal, in which a pupil beat a teacher with her exercise book, as a very serious offence. The pupil has since been suspended. Lesufi visited the school on Monday morning where he met pupils and teachers. He says the outcome of a disciplinary hearing will determine if she'll be expelled.
