Central banks are keen to “slay the inflation dragon,” says NAB’s Gerard Burg.
"We are forecasting a recession in the United States, for example,” he said.
“And there’s a significant risk in the UK and the Eurozone as well.
“It seems that central banks are far more focused on inflation than overall economic activity.”
