Included a brief 'proof' of the expected value formula. The formula is featured in the book but the author doesn't explain where it comes from, so I thought it might be useful if I briefly justified its correctness before proceeding to use it. Though of course you can just skip the proof and use the formula directly, it is a physicist's prerogative to not care too much about the math sometimes :D
