On June 3, 2024, Awards Ceremony gathered C5+1 YC members and alumni from the Kyrgyz Republic, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan who implemented community-based projects in the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan from June 2023 to June 2024, contributing to the development of their communities.

At the end of academic year the C5+1 Youth Council members and alumni came together to present the results of this year’s projects and get awarded for their successful project implementation and active participation in C5+1 YC activities!

Youth Council members and alumni conduct their own youth-led projects that align with the C5+1 platform agenda: Peace and Security, Economic Growth, Energy and Environment, People-to-People Connections.

The goal of the C5+1 Youth Council is to develop a regional network of civically engaged and English-speaking youth leaders across Central Asia who work to advance C5+1 priorities.

The C5+1 Youth Council program is administered by the American University of Central Asia with a grant from the U.S. Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic.
