South Korea is likely to officially accept the use of Remdesivir, an Ebola treatment that has emerged as a new hope in tackling COVID-19.
According to sources, a group of infectious disease experts agreed on Thursday to recommend use of the drug to the nation's quarantine authorities.
Their message also contained information on how to properly and effectively use it to fight COVID-19.
The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will announce their answer during Friday's daily briefing.
