Here are my favorite techniques to help release muscle tension and help with your muscle knots:
✅Shaking: Shaking can help regulate the nervous system and calm the body when you are feeling stressed and tense. Shake any part of the body you feel tension in to help loosen up!
✅Heat: Using a heating pad, electric blanket or hot towel for hot therapy. Heat increases vasodilation promotes healing aiding in blood flow and circulation which can also help with healing by releasing muscle tension and knots.
✅Aromatherapy: Breathing in essential oils is great way to help with muscle tension and relaxation, simply drip some on to a warm compress towel or place in a diffuser.
✅Postural Exercises: Most muscle knots occur due to poor posture and alignment making muscles work harder than they should be... causing increased muscle contraction. Here are the BEST Exercises to help correct your posture.

➡️Trapezius stretch
➡️Levator scapular stretch
➡️Laying on back (legs on chair)
➡️Pectoralis Stretch
