It’s easy to make an encrypted call with ChatMail. Simply select your contact, hit Chat and the phone icon. After answering, verbally confirm the code words match, then accept the secured call. Add a third person to the call by clicking on the icon to select a contact. You’ll need to go through the authentication process again to secure the new call, which will be on hold until you select the merge icon and secure the three-way Group Call.

Every call begins with a security code that must be verbally confirmed between the users to ensure the call has not been intercepted. Once all contacts have passed the manual identity verification, the green “SECURED” icon will appear. Tapping “SECURED” will also allow the user to reject the verification and end the call.

ChatMail allows for up to two calls ongoing at any given time, and you can swap between calls as needed and merge the calls together for high quality and secure three-way calling. Calls made on WiFi are free and unlimited.
