Brimstone may not make it to the table anywhere close to as often as I'd like, but I certainly love seeing new models released for it!
The Master Samurai follows in the footsteps of the other Dice Fest exclusive models, all veteran versions of existing hero classes. These models are all resin models that are purely cosmetic upgrades for existing heroes, and don't really affect gameplay (unless you get them during Dice Fest, the annual gaming day that Flying Frog holds).
The swords of the samurai were a bit difficult to get straightened out. I keep trying, and they're better, but still not as flat as I'd like them to be. I also can't tell if the details in his face are shallow or its just my sloppy priming job.
Despite these complaints, he's a cool looking model giving me some Toyotomi Hideyoshi vibes with his helmet design. Perhaps I'll paint him up in Koei colors!
He may have been a Dice Fest exclusive, but like many of Flying Frog's hard to find resin models, they tend to be available at future events or on holidays, so if you're interested, keep your eyes peeled on that shop page!
