Hello all!
Today, I am baking the most delicious Swedish Saffron Buns to celebrate St Lucia’s Day. St Lucia’s Day, festival of light is celebrated in Scandinavian countries on 13th of December. According to legend, she brought food and aid, wearing a candle lit wreath on her head, leaving both hand free to carry as much food as possible.
Lussekatter (Swedish saffron Bun) is easy and fun to bake, and the aroma of these saffron buns can warm up any cold house in the coldest and darkest month of the year.
