Today we have a beautiful 2023 Suzuki GSXR750 in the shop for a custom dyno tune. This bike has a few mods already done to it, but a tune is needed to bring it all together. We also found a few other issues with the bike while we were doing our pre-dyno check. It already has a CS Racing exhaust which is similar to the Taylor Made exhaust systems that were popular with the CBR1000rr bikes. The CS racing exhaust is very similar with the way it looks. Another thing the owner of this bike installed was ASV levers which caused an issue he probably wasn't aware of. Do Ebay motorcycle levers cause issues? Well, it depends. On this particular bike, there is a neutral safety switch that is tied to the clutch lever. When these were installed, the switch was basically just removed which means the bike was stuck in it's neutral mapping. The bike will still feel ok, but as you'll see with the numbers, it does affect the max hp. If you're going to install aftermarket motorcycle levers, it's important to keep this in mind so you don't lose power just by swapping your levers out. I was able to make a manual switch to get the tune complete, but I'll be talking with the owner to give them a heads up so they can ensure they're getting the most power possible with the new tune for his bike!
