James E. Price Jr. is a P. E. Teacher & Coach. James is also a referee & an umpire in numerous games (Softball, Basketball, etc) citywide....all year long. He sometimes work with a longtime veteran umpire...Butch Danley. They work well together because they communicate with each other. Communication, James says is the key to a successful game
when two umpires are working a game together. James says "Don't assume what the other umpire is going to do. Get an understanding before the game starts".
