Updated for 2024, thankyou for watching my absolute beginners guide to how to get started with DayZ Community Server Modding for PlayStation & Xbox Consoles, although almost all of the subjects covered do work for PC as well, just not some of the Nitrado Server options.

In this, the first in my new series, I discuss why you might want to rent or own a DayZ Community Custom Private Server, what you can and cannot do, the pro's and con's, or advantages & disadvantages, and how much having your own DayZ Server will cost you on a monthly basis.
