Finals of the Jamaica 60 Festival Song Competition
The National Festival Song Competition is an annual feature of Jamaica's Festival activities which occur during the period approaching Independence Day. It is widely recognized as the longest running song festival in the region, having started he in 1966. It is organized and run by the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission, and Agency of the Jamaica’s Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, and aims to identify a song which embodies the spirit of the Jamaican people.
