Windows 10 gives me a MAX of only 10 seconds before the backlight keyboard turns OFF. But, this is another case in which it was possible to use a Windows 7 app under Windows 10 ....similar to fixes for Dell E6400 and E5440
Video goes through in "realtime", BIOS update to most recent version followed by download and install of 21 Mar 2014 version of Dell Feature Enhancement Pack Application.
Then there is control the backlight time with greater preferences beyond the 10 seconds max.... up to 5 minutes!
APOLOGIES in advance if this video seems dull & tedious ... goal is to document AND provide reasonably complete information to replicate solving a problem to as many folks as possible. At times, step-by-step for one is great, but super laborious for another; quick and simple for some, is "what?!" for another. And sometimes the super-annoying can be resolved.
