The Punggol Settlement is a good place for nature lover, those who love walking, cycling and seeing sunset. A relaxing place. From here, it is so easy to get to Punggol Beach and Coney Island.
The Punggol Settlement was famous in the eighties & early nineties for its great seafood restaurants & a jump off point for people going to Seletar Island to water ski. The original Punggol Jetty is still there. This place now has been updated with modern seafood restaurants, a pub and a few other smaller outlets like your usual 7-11. I cycled there around 10am and only 7-11 was open. A very nice quiet getaway. You can stroll for about 500 meters to Coney Island, another nice getaway from city hustle. Or rent a bicycle from the bike shop which has a wide range of choices. Recommended for families.
