A walk with the nature/ Hands in hands with nature
Sharjah Rain room given you a magical experience of walking through a downpour of continuous rain, WITHOUT GETTING WET.
This site-specific installation uses 2,500 litres of self-cleaning recycled water, which is controlled through a system of networked sensors. The work explores how humankind's relationship with nature is increasingly mediated through intangible technologies.
My experience:
On the whole I would rate the place 4/5. The place is a one-time visit. I was able to experience nature like I had never before. The motion sensors and the 3D tracking cameras provide an incredible experience of staying dry amidst the downpour. But the only problem I faced was of being too slow. Overall the place was worth visiting.
