The Wimmera Container Lines service running from Dooen (Horsham) to Melbourne has featured a variety of locomotive lash-ups recently as evidenced in this scene as the train passes through the Buchter Road level crossing.
The leading locomotive, CLF2, has been re-activated by its new owner, RailPower, after many years of storage. C501 has recently been re-activated by the Seymour Railway Heritage Centre after a service and paint touchup. Both locomotives look resplendent after their workshop attention.
The pair were meant to be teamed with CLF4 however that locomotive experienced mechanical problems and is currently receiving attention in Melbourne, so a CSR class has had to be substituted on recent trips.
