The Agia Irini gorge in central Crete is very beautiful and a visit worthy, but because of the long winter in 2022 , there was no time to fully restore the path, especially the last 1.5 kilometers are heavy, the whole tour from only 7 kilometers took me 3 hours and 5 minutes! I really do not recommend this gorge for children under the age of 7 or elderly people in the state it is in now.
If you do go, put on decent shoes and do not wear sandals or flipflops or you will hurt yourself, like I did when I fell, see video
