Colored Steam Cassave Balls Recipe:
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 kg grated cassava
- 400 ml coconut milk
- 1/4 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 cup of sugar
Preparation Method:
Step 1: Preparing the batter
Add grated cassave in a deep bowl. Mix it with 400ml coconut milk, vanilla essence and sugar. Divide the batter into 3 bowls. Add food coloring and give each one Its own color (red, green, orange). Be careful. Do not color too dark. The color will darken during steaming.
Step 2: Steam the Cassava Balls
Fill small amounts of batter into a bag. Steam until cooked at 100 degrees celsius.
Step 3: Dipping the Cassave Balls
Add grated coconut in a deep bowland roll small balls of the steamed
batter while it's still hot. Dip it in grated coconut.
Your Cassava Balls are ready!
