Fishing with Frozen Prawns. An afternoon session at a day ticket fishery gave Graeme the chance to try both legering and floatfishing at the same time. His favoured bait was a whole frozen prawn and his target was to catch a decent Perch. But with bites slow he decided to experiment when he started getting small bites on his float with the large bait...so he decided to scale down to a barbless Blued hook,spade end,whipped onto lighter hooklink and use tiny pieces of prawn he cut up with scissors..It was the best decision he has made for a long time, as the smaller Prawn sections certainly did the trick and he ended up with a great day catching a variety of species...It may be that you haven't tried tiny prawn sections yet but it certainly looks like something to try....50 minutes of lakeside commentary,GP style,there could be some tips to get you the extra fish on your next fishing trip...Enjoy
