I've finally completed my build of the Hasegawa 1/32 scale North American P-51D MUSTANG model. It's been four months of grind, but this weathered WW2 fighter is done. In this video I discuss how the old Hasegawa kit compares to the modern Tamiya 1/32 Mustang, and the challenges of scratchbuilding, superdetailing and adding detail to bring an old 1960s kit up to modern standards. The natural metal finish came out well, the Eagle decals were a nightmare, and the weathering was probably the most fun of the whole build. Please let me know what you think of it in the comments below! Cheers, Dave

Opening Music by www.bensound.com
Closing music "Semper Fidelis 1890" by the United States Marine Band (royalty free YouTube music) - yes, before you comment that the music is wrong, I know the Marines didn't fly Mustangs, but it just sounded right! ;)
