I'm going to show you how you can install Divi 5, just like this, on your own website. And I'm also going to show you the backend & the theme builder. And yes of course we are going to do a Google page speed test to see if Divi 5 is actually faster than Divi 4. To get Divi 5 we go to [ Ссылка ]. If you are still on the Divi yearly plan, don't forget to switch to the Divi Lifetime plan, because it will just save you a lot of money in the long run. If you already have Divi, we go over here to 'Account' and we log in. Once you have logged in, we go over here to the URL and we type behind /members- area/divi-5/. That's what you need to do. Then we press enter. Then we scroll down over here and we go to 'Download the Divi 5 Alpha'. Click on it. And we got it. Remember that Elegant Themes theme says that "We do not recommend it to to put it on a live website". For this update, I'm going to use this Divi 4 website. I've created an entire tutorial about it, how to create this without any plugins. So this website should be good in migrating to Divi 5, because we don't have any plugins installed on this website except for just Divi. So let's log into our site. If you still logging in using /wp-admin/... make sure to watch my security tutorial to get your website secured. To install Divi 5, go to 'Appearance' and 'Themes'. Then we go to 'Add new theme' over there, 'Upload theme'. Then we go to our downloads folder and we select Divi 5 and press 'Open' and we press 'Install now'. Did I mention that you have to do this on a staging website? Because you don't know what will happen. Then it says "A theme has already been installed. Do you want to upload Divi 5 Public Alpha 2?" Yes, replace active with uploaded. There we go. Then we go to 'Appearance' - 'Themes'. I must say this looks pretty promising. The first thing we need to do is go to 'Divi' - 'Divi 5 Migrator'. Now when we scroll down, we can see that all the pages and projects and posts are all compatible with Divi 5 Alpha. You can see all these checkmarks. But when I try to do this on my e-commerce website with a lot of plugins all WooCommerce based, I see this. The Body template is incompatible. The theme builder layout WooCommerce module, and also two pages the cart in the checkout. I would wait just a little bit longer until the Divi Alpha v.3 releases, and maybe in that one all the WooCommerce modules are also working. But on this website all looks good. So we click on this magical button. Are you sure? Elegant Themes warns us, this is just a Alpha version! Remember not to do this on a live website. Well, we are on a subdomain, so all is good. Let's press 'Confirm'. Wow, That was insanely quick. All right, let's see how this website works. Open link in a new tab. Oh, there's something wrong with my menu. It's completely gone. And also, it's not full width. That's why we always have to do this on a staging website. For the rest, it all looks great, but something's wrong with the full width. Let's just edit this page with Divi. Here we go. Whoa! This was really fast. Amazing...
