In this video, Ed Frawley shares a clip from a lecture by Michael Ellis. Michael talks about what an operant or active dog is compared to a reactive dog. Active dogs are very forward-thinking and try to anticipate what behaviors you will ask for. Reactive dogs will react to what the handler or helper is doing.
