Montauk (Nippon) Daisy is a wonderful perennial to have in your garden for late summer / early fall / Autumn color and interest. It's important to cut back or prune your daisies twice a year (once in the early Spring and again in the late Spring). In this video, I give you an update on some cuttings that we tried to root and propagate in the early Spring when we pruned the Montauk Daisy. I tried rooting them in both water as well as potting soil. Montauk Daisy looks like a Shasta Daisy, but Shastas bloom in the Summer and Montauks bloom closer to the Fall. I also show you my process for pruning the Montauk Daisy.
