An artificial placenta is a breakthrough device that offers a promising solution to newborn respiratory distress. We spoke with Dr. Ravi Selvaganapathy, a distinguished engineering Professor, and Neda Saraei, a Master's student, who are members of the team that is currently developing this technology at McMaster University. This video discusses how this technology works and its applications.
