A song to celebrate the simplicity of being here and now.
A song to ground into the Earth, into the breath, into our own inner refuge of stillness.
I am Home is Milène very first single - sung in her family for many years, it has a special place in her heart. The words are simple yet deep, in that artful Zen way which awakens a sense of peace.
Originally written in French by renown Vietnamese Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh, this poem/prayer is traditionally sung at the Plum Village, in the south of France.
Filmed on Bundjalung Country in Australia, in places dear to Milène’s heart through the lens of incredible videographer Bonnie Hall from Kintsugii Studio, both the nature and the tea scenes were visions Milène had whilst listening to the song: it tasted like Shou Puerh tea and smelled like earthy forest soil and humus, had many textures and slow meaningful gestures.
Bringing together her love of tea ceremony, of artful slow beauty and meaningful music – this music video is an ode to Life.
I give thanks and pay my respect to the traditional custodians of this magical land, and to all those who have made this vision come to Life.

Lyrics:
Je suis chez moi, je suis arrivé
Il n’y a qu’ici et maintenant
Bien solide, vraiment libre
Je prends refuge en moi-même.
Je suis chez moi, je suis arrivé
Il n’y a qu’ici et maintenant
Bien solide, vraiment libre
Dans la Terre pure, je m’établis.
I am home, I have arrived
There’s only here, there’s only now
I am strong, I am free
I take refuge inside of me.
I am home, I have arrived
There’s only here, there’s only now
I am strong, I am free
In the pure Earth, my sanctuary.
