Over 400 children from welfare homes in Malaysia have been rescued by authorities after allegations of abuse surfaced.
Malaysian police raided 18 welfare homes in Selangor and two in Negeri Sembilan on Sep 11. Over 170 people including caretakers, ustaz (religious teachers) and the chairmen of the premises have been arrested.
