"What's the next step you need to take? What's the next thing you need to see to complete this?
Has it ever occurred to you that your personality structure is your persona? It's your self-image...How can an image ever feel complete? How could it ever feel anything but incomplete because it's not really the truth of you?
...all of a sudden the thing that has been pathologized their whole life, which is they felt inadequate...It's an image...It knows it's inadequate...and that's okay because it simply is inadequate. It's not a personal thing...and then sometimes I can see the light that comes on in people's eyes...and then it opens up a whole new area as soon as we can quit pathologizing it...
What's not an image? Now let's get down to what you really are...
It's kind of a paradox. As soon as they let themselves realize that that image of themselves is inadequate, all of a sudden they don't feel inadequate anymore. It's like it's not a taboo anymore... It's not a bad thing to feel. It's not even limiting. It actually can become the doorway to something much greater because they're no longer occupied with trying to make it different...
Often there's always an element of truth in it...that which is true which is the real transformative agent..."
