A former walk-on, Cal running back Patrick Laird has showcased his love for reading by opening up a book for his touchdown celebration. However, the redshirt senior for the Golden Bears is on his way to becoming a successful person because of his vision and balance on the football field, according to head coach Justin Wilcox.
