ASIA CUP 2022 के लिए PAKISTAN TEAM का ऐलान

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the squad for the Asia Cup starting later this month. The PCB announced the squad for the Asia Cup as well as the Netherlands tour. Star fast bowler Hasan Ali has not been selected in the team led by Babar Azam. He has been ruled out of the Netherlands tour as well as the Asia Cup. On the other hand, Shaheen Afridi, who was injured in the series against Sri Lanka, has been selected despite not being fully fit.


The Pakistan team will play a three-match ODI series in the Netherlands. The five players selected for that tour did not get a chance to play in the Asia Cup. These players are Abdullah Shafiq, Imam ul Haq, Mohammad Haris, Salman Ali and Zahid Mahmood. Asif Ali, Haider Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed and Umman Qadir have been selected for the Asia Cup. Shadab Khan will be the vice-captain of the team.

Babar Azam (Captain), Shadab Khan, Abdullah Shafiq, Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Haris, Salman Ali, Zahid Mahmood, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Wasim Jr., Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi Shahnawaz Dahani.

Pakistan squad for Asia Cup:
Babar Azam (Captain), Shadab Khan, Asif Ali, Haider Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Usman Qadir, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Wasim Jr., Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shahnawaz Dahani.
India will be the first match
Pakistan's first match will be against India in the Asia Cup starting on August 27. Both these teams have been placed in Group A. There are a total of three teams in Group A, apart from India and Pakistan, the team winning the qualifier round will make it to this group. Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bangladesh have been placed in Group B. A total of 13 matches will be played in this tournament from 27 August to 11 September.
Tournament to be held in UAE
This time the Asia Cup will be organized in the UAE. Earlier Sri Lanka had got the hosting of this tournament, but due to the deteriorating situation there, now UAE has got the hosting of this tournament. Teams of India and Pakistan do not want to play each other's place. In such a situation, apart from the UAE, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh were the only contenders for hosting and Sri Lanka was given the hosting of this tournament. After snatching this tournament from Sri Lanka, UAE got its host.
