From 27th May to 16th June 2022, the VIVID Light Festival was on around various parts of the Sydney CBD. This was the first time in three years that the event has been on due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. VIVID is Australia's largest festival of light, music and ideas. Their were various displays and activities on at different locations around the CBD including Circular Quay, Darling Harbour, Luna Park, Luna Park, Taronga Zoo and many more.
We travelled into town on the night of the 16th June 2022 to check it out. We had a quick look around time as it was beginning to go dark, then we caught the ferry across to Taronga Zoo to check out the light display there, which is called 'Wild Lights'. We travelled back into town to have a look at the light displays around Circular Quay.
VIVID will be on from the 26th May to 17th June in 2023. For more information about the event, check out their website here:
