Let's make a DEKU TREE FROM THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: OCARINA OF TIME that opens and closes Its mouth!
I wanted to make a wire tree tutorial for this channel, so I began thinking of trees in games and series and ended up deciding on the great deku tree from the legend of zelda: ocarina of time, because it was a simple and memorable tree, and I didn't really want this to be a generic wire tree tutorial.
While searching for references here on youtube I noticed That the deku tree that people make is usually with his mouth closed, so I made this one in a way that you can open his mouth if you wish to do so. It is a small space inside, and you can't actually store anything inside, but I do believe it's an important feature of the great deku tree.
This is one of my favorite games ever since I first played Ocarina of Time on my Nintendo 64 back when I was 8 years old with my cousins. Back then, I was scared to leave kokiri forest because of the skeletons in Hyrule field, so I literally would spend HOURS wandering around the forest, swimming, jumping across the platforms and that's basically it hahaha
This is also my first video in English so please leave a comment down below if you liked it and also if you have any suggestions for future builds. I plan on making Kokiri Forest in the future as well, so if that's something you would like to see, feel free to subscribe to the channel!
Thank you for watching, and see you next video!
Carol :)

About the channel
Hello, there! I'm Carol, and I build your favorite mini places.
I'm an architect who loves building 3d models, especially those inspired by movies, games, books and pop culture essentially, and that's what you will see on this channel. So if you're interested in following my creative process or making any of the models yourself for god knows what reason, feel free to subscribe to this channel, like, comment and share these videos with your friends, and of course, feel free to pitch in your ideas for some great miniatures!
Ps.: Apparently the younglings call 3d models dioramas now, so this part of the text exists solely for youtube algorithm reasons.
Thank you!
Carol
