Nowadays young dirt jumpers focus on tricks such as double or even triple barspins, tailwhips and maybe one or two bangers: 360 whips or flip whips. Tricks that would win every contest back in the day are now pulled off in typical qualification runs. You could say the 'dirt scene' as we know it can start to get boring and there are very few riders that really stand out. I love it when people pull signature tricks and put their own style into every move. Creativity and style are the two main things in riding bikes for me. I love FMX inspired tricks, but they are still not as popular in dirt jumping.
