Singapore could be the next international destination opened up to Australian travellers according to Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack.
His comment follows the opening of the long-awaited travel bubble between Australia and New Zealand on Monday.
The arrangement allows Australians and Kiwis to travel between the nations without needing to quarantine on arrival.
Mr McCormack said, “these travel bubbles would not have occurred but for the good record on both sides of the Tasman”.
“Governments have kept their people safe and that is why we’re able to open up this travel bubble.”
