Dateline Philippines: Professor Froilan Calilung of the Ust Department Of Political Science urges Filipinos to fight attempts at historical revisionism. He says many may have lost interest or fallen victim to false or distorted narrative because the historical event failed to deliver on its promise of real change. Calilung cites the importance of reminding the youth about the 1986 EDSA revolt while at the same time addressing the roots of the uprising.
