Many good things have happened since we inaugurated the Expanded Panama Canal a year ago.

More than 1,500 ships have transited through Cocoli and Agua Clara Locks.

We have seen the transit of ships with interesting shapes, the largest car carrier in the world, and others SO enormous, that their length is equivalent to eight Statues of Liberty.

We have achieved many things together, and this is just the beginning!
