Here is a short video to show you how to replace a lighting fixture. It's probably a 2 hour job.
If you lighting fixture does not come with color coded wiring, here is the tip. Inner part of the light bulb socket should be hot and the ribs should be Neutral. Keep that in mind.
If you reverse it, it will still work, but its a shock hazard
