Antisamos Beach Kefalonia Greece

Not far from Sami and about 30 km east of Argostoli is Antisamos Beach. It is a long, sandy beach surrounded by green hills. The beach is organized with umbrellas and chairs, but offer some privacy on a hill at the back of the beach. Some scenes from "Captain Corelli's Mandolin" were filmed here. Nearby and definitely worth visiting is the monastery of Agrillion.
