I picked this up about 3 years back, and it's made me a lot of money. These are simple to use, have no moving parts to wear out, and with care should last a lifetime.
Static bubble balancing has been around for many many years and it works nearly as well as newer Dynamic balancing. I'd certainly say it's worth the money if you'd like to get into tire work on the cheap.
