I stayed at the Hotel Artiem Capri in Mahón on the Spanish Balearic island of Minorca in April 2015, I booked via Booking.com and paid €219.30 (£161.31 / US$247.57) for two people to stay three nights, bed and breakfast.

The hotel is located a 5 minute walk from Mahón bus station, we flew into Minorca and took the bus to Mahón, before walking to the hotel. It was a very simple journey. The hotel is around a 15 minute walk from the Port of Mahón.

The hotel is situated on a street intersection, some of the traffic was noisy, but it was fine with the windows closed. The room had air conditioning, a TV, radio, large wardrobe, safe, coffee table chair and balcony. The bathroom had a shower bath, sink, toilet, bidet and hairdryer. The room was comfortable and of a decent standard.

The hotel has an indoor swimming pool with a retractable roof (closed during our stay unfortunately), to use the pool you MUST wear a bathing cap - I've got a crew cut and I still had to wear one! They do provide bathing caps to loan free of charge.

The roof of the hotel is an astro turf covered sunbathing area that offers impressive views over Mahón, the port and also inland.

The restaurant got very busy at the breakfast buffet, which was superb, a really good selection of quality foods. The evening dinner buffet was also very good.

All of the staff were very helpful and friendly and I would absolutely consider staying at this hotel again in future.
