Zero was powerless in a superpowered family. She lacks the Super gene and hates herself for it, feeling like an outsider to both her home and her school. However, she has one close friend -- Mursal, a girly but sweet girl. And her ex-enemy, Cade, is willing to give her a chance -- but only because of a secret. Her life was busy with school and family drama, but one morning, everything changed.
Now:
When the gong sounds, we run.
One evil Super and his army changed everything. It was on the news: World War III started. Only, it's not between countries this time -- it's between him and the world.
The world is losing.
And the world gave in soon after.
Zero's family is then taken away for 'testing' because of their Super gene, and Demos Rex has left cities defenseless and children orphaned -- the world is a changed, dark place -- monsters that were once people rule the streets at night and all hope of safety is gone.
But Zero and her friends can save the world.
Can she?
