(Partnered) The second edition of Canara Bank Marathon successfully took place in Bengaluru on November 24. The event witnessed the participation of fitness enthusiasts and runners from across the country, who came together to promote health, fitness and community spirit. Canara Bank MD and CEO K Satyanarayana Raju highlighted that Bengaluru was chosen as the venue for this year’s marathon as the city is home to the Bank’s headquarters. Former cricketer Venkatesh Prasad, one of the prominent participants, shared his experience of running in the marathon and also emphasized on the importance of incorporating fitness in one’s lifestyle. The marathon featured various race categories and brought together runners across different age groups, who showcased their determination and passion for a healthy lifestyle.
