I've featured the giant Christmas tree of Araneta City sometime ago in my past vlogs. And now I'm bringing it again in this new video in celebration of the Holiday Season. Unlike the previous vlogs where we've also featured this, the 7:00 minute video is focused more showing the highlight which is the giant Christmas tree in all its glory. It stands in front of Manhattan Parkview Towers along the corner of Times Square Avenue and General Roxas Avenue. It used to be on the side of Smart - Araneta Coliseum but in previous years, it has been transferred to its latest location which used to be a vacant lot that became a parking space, and because its holiday season, the area was converted as an amusement and food park (Times Square Food Park). This place is also where the yearly event Christmas on Display (COD) is held. But the everyone's favorite event temporarily stopped for a while when the pandemic struck us last year. The lighting ceremony of the giant Christmas tree is an annual big event that signals the festive mood here in Araneta City and is usually attended by so many people. This year, the event was witnessed by the mayor of Quezon City but strictly limiting to few visitors and audiences to avoid a possible large crowd that might create a super-spreader event. Since many are vaccinated these days and the Covid cases are drastically dropping its numbers, they once again continued with this Christmas tradition in Araneta City by celebrating the lighting of the giant Christmas tree, and opening the amusement and food park to the public implementing the minimum health protocols of course.
One may notice if you watch the whole video that there is a Zumba session going on during my shoot there so to no avail, I included it in to make this a little longer and have some variety element in my content. This vlog is actually the first part of a mini-series. The second part will be published soon so better watch out for it ok. The second of these vlogs will be a tour of Times Square Food Park. Anyways, I hope our viewers will love our new video for today. Please SUBSCRIBE, like and share, and don't forget to click the notification bell to get updated to our latest videos. Until then, keep on watching and have a wonderful Holiday Season.
