A rare opportunely to see the former Apacheland Movie Ranch before it was regrettably destroyed in a fire a few years ago.
Raw video footage that I took with my first video camera of the visit there was buried in my collection of VCR tapes and just recently accidentally found.
In the first video you saw the scale model of the former Apacheland Movie Ranch that was shown inside a Museum. The original movie ranch site does not exist anymore.
What you are about to see in part two is a old video which I must had filmed with my first video camera. I had visit the place a number of time, starting from the early seventies, which the movie set was in better shape. Most I could remember is that I had filmed this place with a 8mm movie camera and those films are long gone now. I knew the Actor, Tiny Wells, as a friend when he ran the place. He had past away recently as I just learn. Tiny Wells once ran it for a few years and then couple different owners took it over before the great fire destroyed it. I had the great opportunely to film a commercial for Tiny Wells back in the early seventies when I still lived back in Illinois and was on vacation there. This included stunts of falling off buildings and gunfights. After a short time moving to Arizona Tiny Wells gave me permission to film my own Westerns with my own guys there on the movie site, which at the time I only had a 8mm movie camera. Those films don't exist anymore!
