First fire-up of the season, and the boat is for sale!
Great condition 1983 Correct Craft Ski Nautique 2001. I've owned the boat for a few years now and never had any real issue with it. Runs fantastically well and is a very quick boat on the lake with its massive Ford 351 Windsor. Clean red/white upholstery. This boat gets *tons* of comments and questions down at the lake!
The Boat:
- Ford 351 Windsor - very strong and simple motor. Shares many parts with it's proven street-going counterpart.
- Previous owner bolstered the only real weak point on this boat - the fiberglass-wrapped wooden stringers - with aluminum C channel. Rock solid.
- Registration on both the trailer and boat have been renewed recently (though stickers need to be applied).
- Four-speaker stereo with radio/deck installed in the dash and subwoofer with dedicated amplifier.
- Fresh oil
- Teak swimming platform
- Full top cover. Some rough spots could use a refresh/repair, but new shock cord around the perimeter holds the side rail well. Functional and keeps water/pests out if not the prettiest.
- Easy-connect hose fitting on the water pump for test running (don't need to fiddle with plunger or earmuff style water supplies to test run in your driveway).
- Has been stored in covered outdoor parking for my time of ownership with the cover installed.
The trailer:
- Original Correct Craft single-axle trailer
- New as of 8/2017 alloy wheels + tires.
- Bearing buddies
- Pin-lock hitch adapter
- Custom-made keel roller built onto winch stand. The very heavy stock front bumpers made it difficult to impossible to install or remove boat's top cover. No longer an issue.
In addition I will include:
- 2x matching red/black fenders (bumpers) for pulling in to dock - though this is quite easy as the side rails of the boat have rubber as well.
- Anchor - though I don't have a rode set up for it. Purchased and wound up never using.
- A handful of life jackets - an assortment of mostly small/child size. One or two adult foam.
- Whistle
- Fire extinguisher
- Assorted other accessories to get you on the water ASAP.
