Boeing CEO urges striking machinist workers to participate in the vote on the new contract proposal that could end the seven-week strike.
Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg said the company was able to come to an agreement with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) bargaining committee on a four-year contract.
Ortberg’s statement comes as striking workers are preparing to vote on the latest proposal on Monday.
