This video is a submission for the 2020 Breakthrough Junior Challenge.
COVID-19 and the corresponding lack of health care is one of the concurrent crises of our time that is especially impacting low-income, Black, indigenous, and people of color. In this light, I felt it was important (and so interesting) to highlight the immune system and how both resilient and fragile our bodies can be. I believe education can empower our communities to protect ourselves from the risks.
