Lupus is an autoimmune disorder, which is an inflammatory condition. With inflammation all over the body, causing a lot of pain, joint pain, fatigue, often individuals with Lupus will experience a butterfly rash (which makes you sensitive to the sun).
One of the things we consider the causes of lupus is that it could be a result of a toxicity issue. The immune system becomes overwhelmed because of the toxins, but also it could be a result of parasite as well. The immune system starts to attack the bad guys and toxins, but then becomes overwhelmed and starts to attack its own healthy cells resulting in an autoimmune disease.
The good news is that there are naturally ways to treat autoimmune conditions and to support the immune system in a healthy way so that you don’t have the symptoms of an autoimmune condition.
Some recommendations would include the following tips:
Increase your raw fruits and vegetables to intake concentrated anti- oxidants daily.
Make sure you are getting enough anti-inflammatory omega 3 fatty acids.
Coconut Oil 1-tablespoon once or twice daily, great natural anti-inflammatory that helps with inflammation, helps heal the gut and slow down the toxicity issue and parasites.
If you have low stomach acid, you can take apple cider vinegar 1 tablespoon a day, you can mix it in warm water with honey and drink that down after meal, great way to increase stomach acid so you can break down your food properly and therefore decreasing inflammation in the body.
Definitely make sure you are getting enough Vitamin D3, studies are looking at Lupus being connected to a Vitamin D3 deficiency. If you have the butterfly rash you are quite sensitive to sunlight and may be avoiding the sun, therefore not being exposed to natural Vitamin D3, which helps boost the immune system.
